Because that’s where true character is revealed—by the intention and attention to the little and small details. That is true to life too; it isn’t one big moment that defines us or determines the outcome, but a collective of smaller ones. 

The same is true with God—be about Him the whole time, not just in big events or in ceremonies. The smaller prayers and connection to God by love and worship. God is in the little things just the same as in the big things. In fact, He is in everything.

Remember He is with you in both the big moments and the smaller ones. But the difference is those smaller ones are more frequently achieved and received—since bigger events or moments are only as often as they happen.
