When the pressure builds, so does your potential
We can have the best material in the world. The finest ingredients—our talents, dreams, values. The clearest vision. The most equipped kitchen—our environment. We can be surrounded by the best people. But without safety mechanisms to regulate the pressure inside, the whole thing can blow.
We are pressure pots—designed to hold tension, heat, and potential. But even the strongest pot needs more than just strength—it needs a system.
The “pressure regulator” reminds us to set boundaries, to manage expectations and ambition before they overflow.
The “safety valve” Is our support system—friends, family, faith—stepping in when we can’t release the pressure on our own.
The “sealing ring” holds our integrity in place, keeping us grounded and aligned while the heat does its work.
The “locking lid” teaches patience and timing—knowing that breakthrough takes time, and opening too early can ruin what’s being formed.
It’s not enough to just let off steam occasionally—we must be proactive, conscious, and intentional about how we manage the internal build-up.
Prayer. God’s word. Reflection. Rest. These are the valves of the soul. They don’t just keep us from breaking—they teach us how to cook what’s inside to its full flavor. They align our pressure with purpose.
Like I once heard in a speed training workshop: “You need to train in the extreme to learn the range.” Pressure isn’t the enemy—it’s part of the process.
Trust God. Trust the process. And don’t forget to trust yourself too.
